Summer might have gotten a slow start, but its full speed ahead now! Heatwaves are happening all over...here in Helena as well!!!
We love soaking up those long, glorious Big Sky sunny days, heading out to our favorite trails, swimming in our cold lakes, and enjoying every single minute of this beautiful weather - with our faithful dogs in tow.
Because our summer season flies by so quickly, we are already keeping one eye on the horizon. We wanted to share a little sneak peek of what we have planned for this fall, along with a guardian opportunity, and a helpful guide to understanding Australian Labradoodle sizes!

Jack of All Trades
Jack came to us all the way from Texas!
If you live in Helena or the surrounding area (or know someone that does), we are looking for just the right family to partner with us in adopting this exceptional boy!
Born on April 29, Jack is already showing us what a special puppy he is. He sleeps in his crate, has mastered the doggy door, and has the sweet, eager-to-please personality that makes him a joy to have around.
Jack truly can do it all! He's an affectionate cuddle bug and will be a loyal best friend. He is also just the type of boy we want in our program! He has an outstanding temperament, excellent body structure, clean DNA testing, and he' a perfect size!
As one of our premier puppies, Jack would live with you as your permanent, beloved family companion while remaining part of our breeding program. We cover all breeding-related health testing and expenses, creating a true partnership that benefits everyone—especially Jack.

🐾 Upcoming Litter Spotlights:
Bernice: Bernice’s first litter is arriving in August, and we couldn't be more excited! She has the sweetest personality and beautiful looks to match, so we just know these pups are going to be amazing!
Cupcake: We also had Cupcake come visit us for a few days recently, which means her second litter should be here in September. Cupcake did such an amazing job with her first litter, passing along her easygoing personality to all her pups. I recently heard from one of her pup's owners - he’s training to be a therapy dog, and she said he’s the best dog she’s ever had! Cupcake has the most beautiful Cafe coloring!
Aspen: Finally, we are hoping for Aspen's first litter later this year! 🤞 Aspen is a playful and loved companion! We are so excited to see what her and Joey will produce!

Understanding ALD Sizes: A Quick Guide
We get a lot of questions about how big an Australian Labradoodle will grow! Because they are a carefully bred multi-generational cross, they come in a few distinct, wonderful sizes.
To help you visualize, here is the official weight and height breakdown for the different ALD classifications:
Micro-Mini: Avg. Weight 10 - 15 lbs Avg. Height* under 14 inches
Mini: Avg. Weight 15 - 25 lbs Avg. Height* 14 - 16 inches
Medium / Small-Standard: Avg. Weight 30 - 45 lbs Avg. Height* 17 - 20 inches
Standard: Avg. Weight 50-65+ lbs. Avg. Height* 21-24 inches
Average Height (at the shoulder)
We specialize in Minis and Mediums. We feel that is the sweet spot for a dog that fits well in the home and for travel but is also big enough to participate in all of our outdoor activities, like hiking and all the other fun things we do!
